Kohatu is an aged residential care facility supporting older people who can no longer live at home and need ongoing help with everyday tasks or health care.

Our team cares for the total needs of our aged care residents, in a safe and comfortable environment, surrounded by trees and beautiful gardens. It is our goal to improve the physical, emotional and spiritual wellness of our residents.

Our services include: Rest Home Care, Psychiatric Care, Respite Options depending on needs, Palliative Care.

Our aim is to assist all residents to maintain their independence and to remain involved in decision making about their care, along with input from family/whānau.
