Mana o te Tangata Trust are here to work alongside people who experience mental health and addiction issues. Staff are available to work within a Kaupapa Māori framework.
All cultures and backgrounds are welcome. Nau Mai, Haere Mai.

Referral
To access to our Mana service, Tangata need to fill out a referral form for our team to look through and then we will allocate a kaimahi to work alongside them.

Referral Process
A referral is required for entry into Mana o te Tangata Service. Once received the referral will be triaged by our team at our weekly MDT meeting. If the referral meets Mana o te Tangata criteria the referral will be allocated to a staff member. The client will then be invited to an initial appointment to meet with a staff member and discuss the best ways in which they can be supported. Please note Mana o te Tangata is not an urgent or crisis service.

Youth Peer Support includes one-on-one Peer Support and programmes such as Resiliency programmes, Strength programmes and Girls Youth Group. This is provided by our experienced Youth Peer Support Workers who are passionate about working with our rangatahi!
