In 2023, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy through the University of Melbourne. As part of this programme, Catherine is also fully credentialled in vaginal pessary fitting, working in collaboration with patients’ GPs & specialists. Catherine supports both women & men with a wide range of pelvic health concerns, including persistent pelvic pain (such as pain related to endometriosis or dyspareunia), pelvic organ prolapse, menopause-related changes, bowel dysfunction, incontinence, and recovery from pelvic surgery. She also has a strong focus on pre- & postnatal care, including maternal birth injuries covered by ACC. With a comprehensive background in musculoskeletal sports & exercise physiotherapy, Catherine places a strong emphasis on tailored exercise prescription as part of her treatment approach. This is especially valuable during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, & for managing long-term pelvic health conditions. Her expertise helps patients build confidence in movement & return to an active lifestyle safely & effectively. Catherine also works one day a week in a specialist pelvic health clinic alongside a gynaecologist, further enriching her hands-on experience in this field.
