Description
Radius Kensington is a light, airy facility that integrates rest home, hospital, dementia, young disabled, palliative and respite care.
Single-storeyed with a family-friendly atmosphere, wide hallways open into lounges that provide a comfortable place for residents to enjoy. Our rooms are bright and spacious, a number of which have ensuites available including showers. Some rooms have private access to one of five enclosed courtyards which feature raised garden beds and sheltered places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Visiting hours ensure family and friends can spend as much time with loved ones as possible and remain an integral part of their life. Our residents are treated as part of our family; it’s important to us that all residents feel at home at Radius Kensington and feel safe, respected and valued.
We have a dedicated activities coordinator. All our residents thoroughly enjoy planned excursions such as picnics, fish ‘n chips on the beach and outings in our facility van. We also have the opportunity to visit other Radius sites in Hamilton, Glaisdale, St Joans and Windsor Court, and share activities to meet residents social needs.
