Description
Southern Cochlear Implant Programme – Christchurch is a registered charity that has been providing public and private cochlear implant services for more than 10 years.
We are dedicated to helping children and adults with hearing loss, who gain minimal or no benefit from conventional hearing aids, and aim to improve their hearing and spoken communication through the use of a cochlear implant or implants.
Our team of specialists support the full spectrum of the cochlear implant journey, including initial assessments, performing the surgery, activating the implant and administering any adjustments, and post-surgery rehabilitation.
The Programme is funded by Disability Support Services – Ministry of Social Development and public donations and bequests.
