At Tāmaki Hands we assess and manage a wide range of hand, wrist and elbow injuries and conditions for both adults and children. This includes most kinds of hand or arm problems, as well as injuries caused at work, sports or home. Some examples are:

On your first visit we will fully assess your arm and advise and explain how we can help you get the best outcome. Your treatment can include:
explaining your injury or condition
treating your wound and scar
making you a custom-made splint or fitting a brace
planning an individual exercise program for you
using the latest software to help you manage your rehab
discussing preventative management
providing ergonomic advice
sending you for an x-ray or ultrasound
referring you to a hand surgeon
Staff
Gerald: Gerald is a registered Occupational Therapist, graduating from AUT in 2017. Since then, he has worked in a number of roles for Te Whatu Ora in paediatrics, wheelchair and seating, burns and plastics, and more recently at the Hand Therapy service in Counties Manukau. ACC: There is no surcharge for current ACC approved claims, including most splints and braces. There will be a charge for items not covered by ACC, for example if you need compression tape or gloves or scar management products.
EFTPOS and credit card payments available.
Southern Cross easy claim is available for members.
