ĀKI Innovations Ltd (ĀKI) is a Kaupapa Māori service, committed to providing culturally responsive, holistic care to whānau. Our services include Injury Rehabilitation, Rongoā Māori, Cancer Supports and guidance through Kaitiakitanga. We work collaboratively, alongside whānau, to provide services in pursuit of our mission of 'Ākina te Mauri' supporting people's wellness journey.
Rongoā: ĀKI is an accredited ACC supplier of rongoā Māori and has a team of kairongoā providing mirimiri, romiromi, whitiwhiti kōrero and oro mauri. We also offer a range of funded rongoā pathways, including EAP and Hauora Māori (2 x free sessions for adults who whakapapa Māori).
Rehab: Our rehabilitation teams provide support to adults with injuries, whānau that may be having a hard time navigating the ACC system, and those with a cancer diagnosis.
Kaitiakitanga: We offer kaimahi safe spaces as individuals or groups to process cultural and clinical experiences from both professional and personal contexts. This can include training,
