Our caregivers are carefully selected based on their life experiences, skills and personalities. We choose caregivers that are compassionate and want to help older people to remain independent at home. All of our caregivers are directly employed and they undergo a robust onboarding training programme delivered through our very own Dovida Academy. Our training empowers our caregivers to provide person-centred care and includes specialised training in dementia and palliative care.

Fees and Charges Description

Services start from 2 hours per visit up to 24 hours a day as required on a regular, occasional or ad-hoc basis. Care is available seven days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. 

Our services are charged as an hourly rate with a slightly higher rate on weekends and public holidays.  We provide a discounted rate for an 8 hour sleepover service.

There are no additional charges for travel, initial consultation or care management.

Transport services for older people or for people living with a disability help you to maintain your independence and stay connected with your community by providing safe and reliable transport to and from your social events, errands and medical appointments. Our dedicated caregivers understand the varied needs of our clients and provide door-to-door assistance. A Dovida caregiver can also help you to get ready for your appointment, provide companionship on the way, and stay with you at your appointment, outing or errand.

Overnight home care provides peace of mind throughout the night, so that both you and your loved ones can get a good night’s sleep. Our caregivers can provide you with either a waking night or a sleepover service; whatever you need to safe at home. A waking night service can provide ongoing, active care throughout the night. A sleepover service means somebody will sleep at your home to be there if you need them. Overnight care can also be combined with care throughout the day to make sure that you are supported around the clock.

All Dovida clients have a dedicated Care Manager who will help you plan, navigate, co-ordinate and manage your care needs and services. As your needs change over time, your Care Manager will be right there with you, making sure you are consulted and informed at every step. Care Managers are experienced, thoughtful, and understand the services available in your local area. They know how things work, how much they should cost, and which services will be most beneficial for you.
