COVID-19 Vaccination

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines Covid-19 vaccines can be administered before, after, or at the same time as other national schedule vaccines. When the Nuvaxovid vaccine is given at the same time as the Shingrix shingles vaccine or the Fluad Quad flu vaccine, there may be a chance of experiencing a stronger post-vaccination response and you should discuss this with your vaccinator. Boosters Available 7 days/week. The Pfizer vaccine is the primary vaccine being used in New Zealand for booster doses, even if you had a different vaccine for your earlier doses. Aged 18 and over Available 7 days/week. Everyone in New Zealand, aged 18 and over who completed their primary COVID-19 vaccination course at least three months ago, is eligible for the COVID-19 Pfizer booster. 16 and 17 year olds Available 7 days/week. Rangatahi aged 16 or 17 can also get a booster six months after completing their primary vaccination course. You can book your appointments for both centres via the Book My Vaccine website. Walk ins are available subject to availability of the vaccine on the day.

Boosters

Available 7 days/week.  Everyone in New Zealand, aged 18 and over who completed their primary COVID-19 vaccination course at least three months ago, is eligible for the COVID-19 Pfizer booster.

Available 7 days/week.  Rangatahi aged 16 or 17 can also get a booster six months after completing their primary vaccination course.

This service has staff that are trained and authorised to give MMR vaccines. The MMR vaccination is free for people aged from 16 to 49 years (inclusive). Flu vaccination is offered for those over three years old.

  • Measles / Mumps / Rubella (MMR) vaccine
  • Adult flu vaccine
  • Child flu vaccine
