Staff
Capryce Riwai Hick is a ACC registered rongoā Māori practitioner.
In 2009 Capryce was studying Massage in Burleigh heads at Massage Schools of Queensland. Capryce and her husband Daniel had a stillborn baby Soul who was born sleeping at 22weeks and 5 days. Baby Soul is 100% with Capryce in her work.
Capryce has a Diploma in Remedial Massage from the NSW TAFE in the Northern Rivers Australia.
Capryce has been studying at various wānanga in Traditional Māori healing techniques and Romi romi and Mirimiri. Capryce is always looking through a holistic lense to heal mind body and soul. Hinengaro💚 Tinana🤍 Wairua 💜
Capryce has a background in Care work for people with disabilities ranging from Autism, Tetraplegia, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome and is currently still working in this field.

Kia ora, Soul Massage is currently a provider of Rongoā Māori for ACC. If you are interested in this service, you need to have a claim and ring ACC on 0800 101 996 for approval to recieve Mirimiri.

ACC Rongoā Māori ACC recognise rongoā Māori as a kaupapa Māori service. It's culturally grounded care that weaves tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori, te reo Māori, and te ao Māori through all aspects of the service. We respect that these aspects embrace ngā taonga tuku iho (intergenerational gifts and knowledge handed down from tupuna Māori). We see rongoā Māori in the wider context of traditional Māori healing methodologies. ACC don't consider healing techniques from non-Māori cultural traditions, such as reiki or hyperbaric oxygen treatment, part of rongoā Māori. Even if they're provided by rongoā Māori practitioners.
