Te Whare Āwhina House of Rongoā is an ACC registered practitioner based in Northland. 

We’re now open as ACC registered and servicing whānau in Mirimiri, Romiromi and Rongoa Māori in Otangarei!

If you suffer from

Anything in between - we’re here to help you.
 
At present we have kaimahi in Whangārei and training a team in Auckland so we'll update you here for bookings in Tamaki.

Staff

Emily Hepi is an ACC registered rongoā Māori practitioner.
With her vast experience in wananga, she brings hohouterongo, taonga tuku iho and various elements of tikanga Māori to her practice which helps empower our people by helping them find their own healing through kōrero, purakau and pukenga.

Fees and Charges Description

Utu: $143.75 incl. GST per hour.
Surcharge of $40 for each session including hourly fee rate

Hours

10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Mon 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Tue 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Wed – Thu 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Fri 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

After hours and emergency appointments available only on week days.
All other appointments by confirmation email.
Private appointments will attract a surcharge plus consult fee per hour on;

ACC Rongoā Māori

ACC Rongoā Māori ACC recognise rongoā Māori as a kaupapa Māori service. It's culturally grounded care that weaves tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori, te reo Māori, and te ao Māori through all aspects of the service. We respect that these aspects embrace ngā taonga tuku iho (intergenerational gifts and knowledge handed down from tupuna Māori). We see rongoā Māori in the wider context of traditional Māori healing methodologies. ACC don't consider healing techniques from non-Māori cultural traditions, such as reiki or hyperbaric oxygen treatment, part of rongoā Māori. Even if they're provided by rongoā Māori practitioners.
