Description
Family Works is a community based social work and counselling service that aims to address and reduce instances of child abuse, neglect and family violence in the Hawke's Bay communities.
We offer social work support, counselling, a range of parenting programmes, education programmes in schools and reducing family violence services. Our child-centred, whānau-focused approach makes safety and wellbeing of tamariki mokopuna the number one priority. We work alongside the whole whānau to build on strengths, tailor our services to meet individual needs and offer support to whānau to become safe, independent and resilient.
Our office is located in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay.
