Description

We provide Social Work Support, Counselling, Youth Work, Building Financial Capability, BFC plus, Family Violence Intervention, Whānau Ora Support, Hala Ora (Pasifika Mental Health and Addiction), Kaiawhina Services and Group Parenting Programme. Our aim is to achieve better outcomes for our children and young people through journeying with their families on their voyage to sustainable futures.

Our counselling service provides a full range of individual and family counselling. This includes parenting, family violence, anger management, personal counselling, relationship counselling, family counselling and offending issues.

Our parenting programme focus on parenting styles, anger management, violence awareness and prevention, life journeys and parent/child relationships. 

Our Hala Ora (Pasifika Mental Health and Addiction) services focus on mental health and addictions support by way of counselling, social work, peer, and community support. We work from a client focused and strengths based approach in talking therapies and social work.

Our social workers address environmental indicators that contribute to violence, abuse and neglect in family homes, and work with the parents of children who are at risk of being removed by statutory intervention or have children in statutory care. This includes poverty, housing, education and health.

Our Budgeting services focus on one to one financial mentoring, with the aim of enabling them to become more financially capable, gain control over their financial lives and make long-term change.

Our qualified and trained team delivers early intervention and intensive wraparound support service, working with individual service users and their families to identify their problems, set goals and connect them to the care or support which is available in the community through social or government agencies.
