Te Tai Awa O Te Ora provides culturally appropriate counselling and social work services. Our aim is to provide programmes which will prevent or reduce social problems, and to work in an appropriate way with whānau who are affected by such problems.
We welcome anyone in the South Auckland area and we specialise in Māori and Pacific Island cultures however we welcome people from all cultural ethnicities.
We are located on the Ground Floor of Whirinaki House at 7 Springs Rd, East Tāmaki.
We provide:
- a range of services and programmes for individuals and whānau
- social workers in schools
- kaimahi who are culturally sensitive, hold qualifications in counselling and social work and have ongoing supervision and training.
