Description

At the Fatimah Foundation our multi-lingual staff provide a range of services and programmes designed to support the rights and increase the safety and wellbeing of whānau.

Our services and programmes are designed to strengthen the building blocks that enable a whānau centered approach from diverse cultures, ethnic and Muslim communities, and to protect and enhance their spiritual, cultural, health, educational and economic aspirations in a setting of social cohesion and inclusion.

Our fundamental principles are prevention, intervention, inclusion and wellbeing.

Social Worker appointments are available from 9.30 to 2pm.
Administration office is open from 9:00 am and to 3:00 pm.

Abuse and violence support

We focus on strengthening men, women, and children to thrive in safe homes and society. This involves support for those experiencing family harm, including counselling for men, women and children, and family harm protection and intervention. Mashwara Counselling. Mashwara is an Arabic word which describes our approach to consultation, advice, information, support and direction to achieve positive outcomes for the wellbeing of whānau and the community.
