For older people Selwyn Centres provide a chance to get out and socialise. For caregivers, especially those providing care to those with mild dementia, this is a chance for a break (note: the Centres are not suitable for people with advanced dementia). All centres have a time of gentle exercises, morning tea and social games and interaction.
