Tuu Oho Mai is committed to working with whānau and families affected by family violence. We provide support and education around the issues and effects of domestic violence. We also run education groups, individual programmes, safety programmes and non-violence programmes.

Our Non-Violence Education wananga are available to any man or woman who is willing to make positive changes regarding domestic violence. We understand how complex family violence can be and we are here to support and guide wahine to realise their own power in breaking free from violent relationships. One way we do this is through weekly education programmes for Maori, Non Maori and Asian women. We also offer a Womens Non Violence / Strengthening Women wananga focused on assisting women to identify anger, explore their responses and develop skills to express themselves assertively and clearly.
