Description
SVS's mission and purpose is: Challenging Violence - Changing Attitudes - Changing Lives. E wero ana I ngā tūkinotanga, E huri ana i ngā whakaaro, E huri ana i tōu huarahi.
We achieve this through psychoeducational non violence programmes which teach healthy coping strategies and tools to assist in developing respectful relationships, while still holding people accountable for their past behaviour.
Staff
Programmes are delivered by highly-qualified, professional clinicians, who are passionate about helping people develop healthy and respectful relationships.

Referral
We accept referrals both from individuals (self referrals) and agencies including: health professionals, schools, employers, the Ministry of Justice, Department of Corrections, Oranga Tamariki and tertiary institutions.
Referrals involve an initial assessment to decide on the most appropriate support options for each person.
