Dr Agata Moody

Dr Moody has over 15 years of experience in Psychiatry, completing her training in the UK before emigrating to New Zealand to work at Southland Hospital in 2019. Her training experience encompassed training rotations in a wide variety of mental health settings with a broad range of patients.

 As a consultant, Dr Moody has developed a special interest in mood disorders and dual diagnosis – the treatment of co-existing psychiatric and substance use problems. She has a strong interest in psychotherapy. She gained experience in both forensic psychiatry and neuropsychiatry whilst working for a private neuropsychiatric ward for patients with a forensic history, also in Manchester.
