Andy Salmon has trained as a nephrologist in Bristol, Gloucester, Taunton and Nottingham in the UK, as well as in Tauranga (New Zealand) and Los Angeles (USA). Recently, he has combined clinical work as an Honorary Consultant at the Richard Bright Kidney Unit in Bristol with research studies & education on blood vessel function in kidney disease.

He joined the renal service at Waitemata DHB in September 2014.
