Dr Han Kim

Han grew up in Auckland and gained his medical degree from the University of Auckland. After completing his radiation oncology training at Auckland City Hospital, he completed his fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada, where he expanded his knowledge and experience in palliative care and oligometastic radiotherapy. He is experienced in various radiation treatment techniques such as SABR/SBRT.

He then moved to Wellington, where he enjoys teaching medical students as a Senior Clinical Lecturer and working as a Radiation Oncologist.

He continues his interest in research as part of the research committee at the Capital and Coast District Health Board.

Han treats various tumour sites including:

• Benign conditions
• Breast cancer
• Genitourinary cancer
• Head and neck cancer
• Skin cancer
