Dr. Kristine Ng graduated from the University of New South Wales medical school, Sydney, Australia in 1994 with honours. Her residency years were spent in Australia and New Zealand.
She undertook dual specialist training in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine in Auckland and United Kingdom (UK). Her specialist fellowship training was at University College London (UCL). Her sub-specialty interests include Lupus, Inflammatory Myositis, Sjogren's syndrome and Scleroderma.
She has a long standing interest in research, being an experienced Principal Investigator in many trials and is involved in local and international collaborative groups. She is the Rheumatology Clinical Research Group Lead at Health New Zealand Waitemata and the New Zealand Lead Investigator for the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration (APLC) Group.
She serves as a medical advisor for the Scleroderma NZ Association.
