Dr Russell Walmsley

MB ChB 1986 Bristol; MRCP 1991

Dr Walmsley is a graduate of the University of Bristol, England and underwent specialty training in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine in the UK. His doctoral research is in inflammatory bowel disease, undertaken at the Royal Free Hospital, London and Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. Since coming to New Zealand he underwent additional training in Endoscopic Ultrasound and treatment of Barrett’s oesophagus in Hong Kong and St Thomas’, London.
