Dr Sarah Redfern

Dr Sarah Redfern joined us in 2011 and works 4 days a week, with clinics at both our Remuera and Pakuranga rooms. A born and bred Aucklander who attended Otago University Medical School, she has recently left General Practice after 28 years. She has a strong family history of skin cancer which makes her passionate about prevention and early detection of all skin cancers.

Dr Redfern offers advance dermoscopic detection of skin cancers and is skilled in the management of these, including cryotherapy and excisional biopsies. She attends workshops, participates in ongoing skin cancer education and regular case reviews with the Skinsite medical team.
