Torrance joined HFD as a full time GP in December 2015. He was born and bred in Auckland and studied Medicine at Auckland University, before working in all 4 of the hospitals in Auckland, gaining experience in General Medicine, General Surgery, Women's Health, Older People's Health, Mental Health, and Ear/Nose/Throat. He then completed a Post Grad Certificate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and completed the GPEP1 programme through the RNZCGP in 2015.
Torrance's interests include Youth, Sexual and LGBT+ Health, Diabetes and other long term conditions, Mental Health, Sleep Medicine, and ADHD.
