Open to 8pm … but if you aren’t there by 5pm they won’t see you. Daughter-in-law turned up at 5.15pm with severe abdominal pain, got told they won’t see her, Papakura most likely won’t see her and to go home or go to Middlemore and wait 8 hours. Or take pain meds (which aren't working )and come back in the morning. Disappointing service!!

We visited on Monday at 1pm. We were there two hours and everybody that was before us had been seen, there were no urgent cases so we thought we would be next, but no we had to wait another two hours. Others were seen before us due to triage and I can tell you that 80% of those patients were not more urgent than us.

Instructions are not given clearly to patient, to request a medical certificate is similar to duration when you attend for check up. ( it takes ages !!!! )
This clinic always gives me the frustration in life.
The people in this clinic have the best way to ruin a day.

Although a long wait due to so many people to be seen. The nurse and doctor were amazing.

We attended on Sunday March 12 and offered exceptional care and advice. Thank you to staff at front desk and especially to nurses and Dr Mitul Jesani.

Amazing service from ALL staff. They were VERY busy on Boxing Day, BUT the wait time is NOT long considering the extended wait times at other after hour A&E clinics & hospitals. The staff were wonderfully empathetic, respectful & caring despite working in very difficult circumstances where a VERY small, vocal number of patients seemed to have highly unrealistic expectstions from them. I broke my elbow Xmas Day & attended Boxing Day. Dr. Kirin Tan showed amazing skill, knowledge & care in reading the X-RAYS picking up major issues. He diligently followed up with the Orthopaedic Surgical Registar, & followed this advice completely. Ultimately, through his real care, knowledge & diligence, he ensured a CT Scan was carried out, resulting in surgery being required for an open reduction and internal fixation of the elbow fractures. From what we viewed on repeat attendances to the clinic, the clinic triages patients & has a senior nurse assess each patient very promptly, sending those requiring Xray there promptly. Definitely the overall comments from the LARGE majority we heard by those waiting was the thankfulness to have such an outstanding, professional service for the Franklin / Pukekohe area. The service was totally outstanding with exceptional attitudes from every staff member. Thank you Urgent Care A&E Franklin, Mercy Radiology, & Dr. Kirin Tan. We have already been advising friends & family to attend Urgent Care A&E Franklin.

What a useless urgent care service that only stays open till 8pm and won't see anyone who does not show up before 5pm. Turning away injured children in pain. Get your dysfunctional government health department to do a better job to retain doctors and nurses!
