Service only provided for the soldiers in the Burnham Military Camp.

All members of the NZDF have a role to play in the management of health in the New Zealand Defence Force. This includes accepting responsibility for their own health, upholding the duty of care to each other and providing emergency care when needed.

Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  1. If you require healthcare advice after hours, please call Healthline on 0800 611 116
  2. Following the telephone assessment, a Telephone Consultation Summary will be sent to your doctor at NZDF (providing you consent to this)
  3. If advised by Healthline to seek face to face care, please access this at Pegasus 24 Hour Surgery and present your NZDF ID on arrival to access the NZDF account held there
  4. Keep receipts of any costs and take them to the Burnham Defence Health Centre during working hours to claim a refund
  5. The Telephone Consultation Summary will be used as an approval for the refund

Public Holidays: Closed Good Friday (18 Apr), Easter Sunday (20 Apr), Easter Monday (21 Apr), ANZAC Day (25 Apr), King's Birthday (2 Jun), Matariki (20 Jun), Labour Day (27 Oct), Waitangi Day (6 Feb).
