Profile

GP Partner/ Director

After completing my primary medical degree, I went on to work in different specialties and hospitals in India, Mauritius, Singapore and New Zealand. I moved to Singapore where I went ahead to pursue my higher education in family medicine.

In 2015, I moved with my family to New Zealand and decided to make this my home for good. My wife, Dr Alka Kheterpal, who also practices as a GP, has been with me in this entire journey of life.

I have been enjoying all aspects of General Practice for the last 20 years including child health, men’s check, geriatric illnesses, women's health, and contraception discussions. I also have a special interest in excision of skin lesions, minor surgeries, sleep and snoring problems, obstructive sleep apnoea, CPAP machine discussions and diabetes mellitus.

I can speak fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi and look forward to conversing with you in the language you love to talk.
