Profile

Jeff was born in Waitakere Hospital in Henderson and spent most of his early days in West Auckland.  He attended Auckland Grammar School before studying Medicine at Auckland University.  Jeff began his career initially as an Urgent Care Practitioner and was the Clinical Director at one of the Southern Cross Clinics.  He subsequently re-trained as a General Practitioner.  He has completed a postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Community Emergency Medicine. He has also completed postgraduate Certificates in Sexual Health (University of Auckland), Primary Skin Cancer Medicine (University of Queensland) and the preliminary certificate in Dive Medicine which allows him to certify commercial divers.  He and Grabiel have one daughter together.

Jeff is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners as well as the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care.
