Thankyou for your feedback . I'm sorry that we weren't able to see you when you arrived and that you had a wasted trip to the clinic. The Ponsonby clinic wasn't going to be opening until 2.30pm yesterday as we had an urgent staff meeting at our Northcote Clinic prior to that. Both the Dr and the receptionist say they were back at the clinic by 2.25pm and hadn't seen you or other patients waiting. We do our best to answer all calls when they come in but I'm aware that there will still be times when people phone either of our clinic phone numbers and no-one answers as the work load varies from hour to hour, day to day as patients call or present to the clinics. We do now have an option to leave a message for reception but this will always be processed after receptionists have dealt with patients at the clinics and those making a phone call to us at the time. All phone calls ring at both clinics so that whichever receptionist(s) are available to answer can do, this increases the number of calls we can answer at any one time. Unfortunately it would seem, no-one got to answer you call at the time you called.

Just no use being with them! Been with them for almost all my life and it just gets worse and worse, trying to get an appointment for a one minute consultation wtf?! Gets worse every year! I’ll be leaving for sure and telling my friends and family to as well
Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you don't feel you are getting good service from our clinic recently. I would be happy to discuss this with you so that I can be aware of the details. However , please be aware no consultation can take 1 minute. There is always a responsibility on all GP's to ensure they have the most up to date information on your health, that they have checked your notes, your reports so they can discuss any updates or new bloods needed with you as well as confirm the medication asked for is still appropriate. To have a consultation means you need to have a designated time slot, it can not be just fitted in between patients or after work as Doctors have to be able to manage their workload and get breaks also. Your consult time also needs to include time to record their discussions with you and any actions taken. I am aware in many practices it can take up to 4-6 weeks to get an appointment. As a general rule, you should be able to get an appointment with us on the same day or next business day. Please contact me through the clinic if you want to discuss this further. Despite myindici confirmed an appointment at the Ponsonby Centre for 2.30pm on 11-02-2025 for a COVID booster, when I arrived - the Centre was closed. Pushed the bell several times - no response. Another guy arrived who had an appt as well. So I phoned the Centre on my mobile - no response. Caught bus back home and logged into myindici to check and my confirmed appointment had changed to 'missed' - when it had not. Sent an email to the Centre - got their usual automated email back. NOT happy. Very bad service.
