Māngere East Medical Centre is conveniently located next to Hunts Pharmacy in the Countdown Shopping Centre at 359 Massey Road, with ample parking available and good wheelchair access.
It was established in December 1995 by Drs Sunil and Shelley Roy out of a desire to contribute to improving the health of the people in South Auckland with its high Māori, Pacific Island, immigrant and lower socioeconomic group population demographics and its statistically higher incidence of preventable and chronic diseases and lower life expectancy.
