Saturday's walk in clinic is advertised as being 9am-12pm. Yesterday I arrived at the clinic at 11.22am. The waiting room was empty. I asked about seeing a doctor and was told that I couldn't. There was still 40 minutes left. The receptionist said that they open at 9 and take appointments until 10 as it could take until 12 to finish. I have seen queues at 9am. What happens to those who come after 10? Are they sent away? The chemist next door is open for the same time. They will be open for no good reason waiting for people who are not going to come as there are no patients at the surgery. All I would have needed was 5 minutes. I have been waiting for 3 weeks so far to see a Doctor and I still have to wait until the 5th. Had I been seen yesterday my appointment would have been free for somebody else that has been waiting? The service which used to be quite good is non existent now
