Southpoint Family Doctors highly value the relationship between a patient and clinician, working together to design plans to support them on their health journey; to help educate and inform patients so that they feel empowered to make the right choices and decisions for their well-being. They recognise that each person is a member of a family and community, and that health goals and plans need to be holistic, considering the Fonofale and Te Whare Tapa Wha models of care (Physical, Mental, Social, and Spiritual).
They also have a particular interest in teaching and supporting the maximisation of staff’s potential. Contributing to the growth of the Health Workforce including our Pasifika people.
Southpoint Family Doctor’s is a recognized Pacific provider and has been involved in support services including COVID-Whānau HQ, Emergency Response, Long term Conditions, Social Navigation and currently Childhood Outreach Vaccinations to increase our Childhood Vaccination rates.
