Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki is a rural Iwi-based, not-for profit, incorporated society providing health and wellness services across the Hauraki rohe. The organisation has been providing effective health services for 25+ years.
Our services include Doctor and Nurse Clinics, prevention, early detection, treatment and management, education, wellness care, mental health services, whānau support, health promotion and public health services.
Due to our very limited workforce capacity across our Whānau Health Centre network, we are currently only able to accept new enrolments from those of our most vulnerable populations/whānau, at this time. These whānau being Māori, Pacific, andthose of our Hauraki whānau (regardless of ethnicity) living in our most deprived areas within the Pare Hauraki rohe (classified as Neighbourhood Deprivation Q5 – deciles 9 & 10 -in accordance with the national health classification of "high needs populations").
After hours: We partner with Ka Ora Telecare to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team.
Ka Ora Telecare is available weekdays from 5pm to 8.30am and 24/7 weekends/public holidays.
