Postal Address
Grey Lynn Community Centre 510 Richmond Rd Grey Lynn 1021 Auckland
Description
We are a small, kind clinic providing all the usual medical services.
Everyone is welcome to join and contribute to better health for the community.
We are conveniently located in the friendly Grey Lynn Community Centre. Plenty of free parking, including mobility parks, bus route and bicycle lane right outside!
The Community Centre has a great public access children's playground, Plunket, Citizen's Advice and heaps of great activities during the week.
Doctors Fiona Gordon, Vicki MacFarlane and Doug Winter along with Nurses Nicola Gee and McKenzie Mills have many years of experience and skills to offer. We share a strong desire to practice at a very high standard of medicine and to do so with a great deal of kindness, warmth and humour.
Life can be tough. We all need a safe sanctuary to be as healthy as we can be and to have people who will really see us, listen well and advocate for our health. This is our aim.
In particular we wanted to have a clinic where people felt they were not only welcomed and cared for themselves, but also had an opportunity to participate in a community that cares about each other.
Staff
We would like to acknowledge the Registered Nurses Nicola Gee and McKenzie Mills along with administrators Ro Trimmer and Gail Sayegh.
We are a clinic that is happy to provide home visits when needed. Check cost with us.
We also encourage the use of the online portal for consultations that do not require a face to face visit. These are charged as consultations depending on the complexity of the service provided. They may be very convenient in a variety of situations - for example when it is hard to get away from work or you require some further information about a previous consultation.
Various separate fees may apply for additional services such as prescriptions, minor surgery, ECG,smears. We also may charge for work that is done outside of the consultation time such as insurance or other forms, referral letters ,medical certificates.
