Whangārei YOUTH SPACE
Free youth-friendly health services for 12-24 year olds.  We provide assessments and treatments for physical, accident and injury, sexual health and mental health and wellbeing. We aim to support our patients to get enrolled and utilise a General Practice, and work alongside the patients primary health care team.

Our Youth Health Nurse Specialist/Clinical Manager is Rachel McGillan

Our He Kakano Ahau Youth Primary Mental Health Clinician is Ruby Tibbits

Our health team is supported by Dr Simon Wilkinson, a GP with extensive youth health expertise.

This practice is accepting some new patients to enrol, but with restrictions.

What does "enrolling" mean?

Fees

12 to 24 year olds – Free of charge.

Those aged over 18 years are encouraged and supported to transition to a family GP practice, especially if they have a means of income.
