I am a New Zealand trained Orthopedic surgeon and I specialize in Spinal Surgery and hip and knee Arthroplasty.

I completed my studies at Auckland Medical School and went on to complete the New Zealand Orthopedic Assoication training program in 2010.

I have completed local spinal fellowships at Wellington and Middlemore Hospitals before gaining further experience in complex spinal surgery at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Canada. During my spine fellowships I gained a comprehensive exposure to complex spine trauma, adult degeneration as well as tumour cases.

I have also completed a Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane.

I started working as an orthopedic consultant at Waikato Hospital in August 2013. I am part of a team providing a general oncall Orthopedic service as well as a tertiary spine service to the great Waikato Region and the other midland District Health Boards.

I have maintained a subspecialty interest in hip and knee replacements both in primary and revision surgery as well as spine surgery.
