I am a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon with full vocational registration in New Zealand. I qualified in 2007 and completed my higher surgical training in Yorkshire, UK, in 2017, which included two competitively awarded Training Interface Group (TIG) fellowships in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery (Newcastle upon Tyne), and hand surgery (Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby). I completed the BSSH hand surgery diploma during my fellowship in Derby. I moved to New Zealand in 2017 to undertake additional higher surgical training fellowships in plastic & hand surgery and was appointed as a consultant in Hamilton, NZ in September 2019. I was appointed as clinical lead for hand surgery in the Plastic Surgery department of Waikato Hospital in 2021.
