After graduating with BSc(Hons) in Genetics, Dr Steven Miller qualified in Medicine at the University of Glasgow in 1999. He completed general professional training in Internal Medicine at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow and began specialising in Endocrinology and Diabetes in 2002. He was awarded a PhD for diabetes research in 2007 and completed a fellowship at the Garvan Institute for Medical Research and St. Vincent's Hospital, Sydney in 2009. He is now a Consultant Physician in Endocrinology and Diabetes, and General (Internal) Medicine and is based at North Shore Hospital, Auckland.
