Dr Salam Salih is vocationally registered doctor with more than 15 years’ experience in general practice. Fellow of Royal New Zealand College of General practitioners and hold an ECFMG certificate from the United States.
Dr Salih had special interest in in family medicine, chronic care management including diabetes, cardiovascular disease such as hypertension and heart failure.
Dr Salih worked as a general practitioner in Flat bush for 12 years. Dr Salih believes that respect and quality of care are the pillars for achieving excellent outcome in improving the health of his clients.
Dr Salih had also special interest in academia as a researcher and senior lecturer, obtained PhD in Molecular Physiology in 2002 from Auckland school of medicine.
