Dr Sarah Fitzgibbon

Sarah is a New Zealand trained doctor who received her medical degree from the University of Otago. She went on to complete her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and then her speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the wider Auckland region.  In addition Sarah has undertaken a two year fellowship via the Australasian Gynaecology Endoscopy Society in minimal access surgery and advanced laparoscopy.

Sarah currently splits her time working as a Specialist Gynaecologist at both National Womens Hospital and Ascot Womens Clinic. Her practice includes general gynaecology, colposcopy, and gynaecological surgery. 

Her surgical interests include the hysteroscopic and laparoscopic management of :

• ovarian cysts,
• uterine fibroids,
• menstrual disorders,
• and severe endometriosis.

In addition to this Sarah has a particular passion for the interdisciplinary and collaborative care of women with pelvic pain.
