Lily moved home to Dunedin in 2023. She grew up surrounded by amazing people who fought hard to save te reo Māori and culture. Lily is living proof that kids who attend Kura Kaupapa Māori can achieve well at university. Lily is passionate about Te Reo Māori and the daily use of it in her mahi.
Lily is very passionate about health and loves working with whānau from new born babies through to kaumātua. She particularly enjoys supporting people with their metabolic health- condition such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension and is a promoter of kai as medicine.
Lily enjoys learning and teaching Te Reo Māori and has been a long time participant in Kāi Tahu's Kōtahi Mano Kāika. She loves spending time with her whānau, going to the beach and for bush walks and reading.
