Graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1984.  Postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at National Women's Hospital and Brighton Hospital in the United Kingdom.  Since 1994 has worked as a specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist both at National Women's Hospital and in private.  Underwent formal subspecialty training in Gynaecological Oncology in Sydney and Melbourne to obtain certification in gynaecological oncology (CGO).  Currently working as a Gynaecology Oncologist at Auckland City Hospital and Ascot Hospital.  Other areas of interest include preinvasive lower genital tract disease and vulvar conditions.
