Dr Sarah Corbett

MB ChB 2007 Auckland; FRANZCOG 2016

Sarah is a gynaecologist who has completed her fellowship in gynaecological laparoscopy and minimal access surgery, and was awarded an AGES (Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery) qualification in 2016.

She has led the way in her hospital with the use of outpatient hysteroscopy to treat polyps and small submucosal fibroids under local anaesthetic. She is also performs colposcopy and the treatment of cervical lesions.

She completed her medical training at the University of Auckland, then has worked around New Zealand while completing her specialist training. Currently she is a specialist at Middlemore Hospital.

She loves the outdoors, and is hoping to introduce her two young children to the fun and beauty of the beaches, forests and mountains of New Zealand.

She has an interest in :

• laparoscopic hysterectomy,
• treatment of endometriosis and ovarian cysts.
