Dr Giri Raj

Dr Giri Raj was born in Northern Ireland and moved to New Zealand in 1988. He was Dux of Auckland Grammar School in 1995. He graduated from Auckland Medical School in 2002.

He completed his Dermatology training in Auckland and Middlemore hospitals in 2010. His Dermatology Fellowship lasted three years in the United Kingdom. He has worked in centres of excellence in the UK including the Royal Liverpool Hospital in Liverpool, St Johns Institute of Dermatology in London, and Glasgow and Hairmyres Hospital in Scotland. He has also had experience in the Dundee photobiology unit and Newcastle Royal Infirmary. In these centres of excellence he gained experience in all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology.
