Mr Timothy Lynskey

MB ChB 1974 Otago; FRACS 1983

Tim is a graduate of Otago Medical School. Following orthopaedic training in New Zealand he completed a Fellowship in Knee and Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital London before returning to Taranaki.

His current interests include all aspects of knee surgery, hip arthroplasty and education.

His contributions to Orthopaedics have included 8 years on the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association Training Board including 5 years as the Censor, fifteen years as an Examiner for the Australasian College including 4 years as the Senior Examiner(NZ), Secretary and President of the Knee and Sports Surgery Society and 14 years as HOD Orthopaedics TDHB.
In 2015 he was elected to the Academy of Surgical Educations of The Australasian College of Surgeons.
