Qualifications
Profile
Rachel is a graduate from AUT with a post graduate certificate in hand and upper limb therapy. Her career has taken her from New Zealand to the United Kingdom and Hong Kong before returning to Wanaka five years ago to pursue her interest in hand therapy.
Clinical interests:
- Acute and chronic presentation of hand and upper limb conditions
- Post operative hand rehabilitation
- Acute sports injuries with particular interest in running related injuries
- Paediatric hand injuries
- General acute sports injuries and return to sport
Interests
Rachel is a keen ultradistance mountain runner, snowboarder and mum of two. She has represented NZ in the sport of rowing at world championship and Olympic qualification level. She is also a regular contributor/writer for Trailrunmag and loves all things trail running.
