Dr Brad Chittenden

MB BCh 2000 Witwatersrand; MRCOG 2008; CCT (UK) (Obst & Gyn) 2011

Brad was born in South Africa and was awarded his basic medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 2000. He moved to the UK to undertake his specialist training in 2002. He has worked in the highly regarded units of Cambridge and Aberdeen. He undertook 3 years of training in advanced laparoscopic techniques under the mentorship of Dr Kevin Cooper. This unit is one of five units in the UK recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to provide high quality training in minimal access techniques.

Brad has published research papers in Human Reproduction Update, The Green Journal, Scottish Medical Journal and ANZJOG.

  Brad's particular interests are in the management of endometriosis and heavy menstrual bleeding.
