Mr John Riordan

Mr Riordan is a Senior clinical lecturer in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Wellington School of Medicine.

Specialist Training: 

Trained in Wellington and completed specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Gained further postgraduate experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery at the Royal Brompton National Heart Hospital London, and in Portland Oregon.

Interests include

• Coronary surgery valvular replacement/repair
• Thoracic aortic surgery
• Lung and chest surgery.
