Mr Shay Mandler

Dr Mandler is an Orthopaedic and Spinal surgeon at Southern Cross Specialist Centre. He graduated at the Orthopaedic training program in Kaplan Medical Centre then worked as an Orthopaedic consultant in Soroka Hospital and In Clalit Healthcare system.

Dr Mandler is a fellowship trained Spinal surgeon. Completing an adult spine fellowship at Auckland city and Middlemore hospitals. In early 2021 he completed a paediatric spine fellowship in Starship Hospital Auckland. 

Having completed short term Spine surgery fellowships in Soroka hospital and Santa Maria Hospital (Lisbon, Portugal) he then went on to completing the Global spine Diploma program by AOspine and currently serves as a faculty of AOspine diploma program.

Dr Mandler is a Clinical practice fellow in Otago university and educating medical students. He is a member of NASS (North American Spine society), AOspine and AOtrauma, IOA, OTA and have a high Interest in medical Innovation and research.

Dr Mandler consults on all areas of adult and paediatric spinal surgery and Orthopaedic trauma.
